Entries now open for the Keswick Mountain Festival Triathlons, Derwent Island Swim (1500m) and Derwent 750m Swim.

Keswick Mountain Festival Short Triathlon - 17th May. This route will cover a 400m swim in Derwentwater, 20Km bike ride heading out to portinscale around Derwentwater and a 5Km trail run through the woods & around the lakeshore. This beautiful route is a great start for the short Triathlon & a weekend of sporting events, with a NEW relay entry option for 2014 why not get your friends involved and set yourselves the challenge today!
Keswick Mountain Festival Long Triathlon - 18th May. This year the long Triathlon will offer a challenge for triathletes, showcasing some of the most beautiful scenery surrounding Keswick. Comprising of a 750m swim in Derwentwater, 35Km Bike ride over the famous Honistor & Newlands pass and to finish a 10Km trail run heading out to the Skiddaw mountain range. With spectacular views throughout, this iconic route will be a new challenge for the KMF 2014 sporting events, are you up for the challenge?
Derwent Island Swim - 17th May. With over 200 entries in last year's swim it's back for 2014! Derwent Island is set off the shores of Derwentwater and steeped in history, why not take on the challenge to swim around Derwent Island.
Derwent 750m Swim - 17th May. NEW for 2014 - we are offering a shorter open water swim, great for your first open water challenge or for people who want to build up for the 1500m Derwent Island swim.
PLUS all triathletes will recieve a FREE wristband to attend the evening entertainment in the Festival Village at Crow Park.
Keswick Mountain Festival aims to inspire new adventures and get people out into the great outdoors. In 2013, the Festival hosted an event programme with over 250 activities in just 5 days! Activities included midnight hikes on the fells, canoeing adventures on Derwentwater, demo bike rides, ghyll scrambling in the mountains, open water swimming, navigation courses and much more. Our 2014 activity programme will be announced soon!
All the Festival sporting events start & finish at the Festival Village on Crow Park creating a perfect buzz and atmosphere for all competitors. This year, the Festival welcomed over 15,000 visitors to the Festival Village at Crow Park in Keswick - the perfect social outdoor hub for families to adventure together, friends to socialise and explore what the Festival has to offer. We are pleased to announce that NEW for 2014 will be an evening entertainment programme on the Festival Village at Crow Park, welcoming bands and various acts from around the UK, so watch this space for the line up & more info!
