One of the UK’s biggest outdoor festivals is pledging its support to the huge effort to repair one of the Lake District’s favourite fells. Keswick Mountain Festival and the National Trust have joined forces in a campaign to raise £25,000 for urgent work needed on Cat Bells on the Western Shore of Derwentwater in Keswick. The much-loved fell suffered extensive damage to its paths when Storm Desmond hit Cumbria last December.
