Introducing... WILD CAMPING

New for 2016, the two-day trip will follow the main ridge from Stonethwaite to Keswick, before climbing across the Langdale Pikes and High Raise, spending the night above Easdale, with stunning views across Grasmere and the eastern fells. On day two, climb Ullscarf and descend to Watendlath then head back to the Festival Village on the Derwentwater lakeshore.

Keep to new year’s resolutions with a visit to Keswick Mountain Festival

The team behind Keswick Mountain Festival (KMF) has revealed more details of plans to make 2016 the event’s biggest and best year yet. The 10th anniversary festival is now five months away and KMF has added to its growing programme of sporting events and outdoor activities. With trail runs, open water swims, triathlons, a cycle sportive and walks at all levels, KMF has more than ever for anyone who needs some inspiration to help them stick to a new year’s resolution to be more active and get outdoors. The latest activities to be announced include guided walks, wild camping and a new longer open water swim.
