We can now reveal the full line up for our Bike Night sponsored by Montane featuring some fantastic films along with some inspirational speakers and Q&A sessions.
The fantastic line up now includes 3 films, these are as follows:
‘Take a seat’
Dominic Gill’s mission is to cycle the 32,000 kilometres from the northern coast of Alaska to the southern tip of South America, on a tandem bike, picking up random strangers on the way. A gripping tale of two years and two continents, full of extraordinary characters and incidents.
‘Look to the ground’
“Look to the Ground” is a snapshot of the inspiring story of Bobby McMullen, a professional athlete who is legally blind and has worked against the odds to become a top mountain bike rider.
‘One Hell of a Day’
Cumbrian resident Peter Lofthouse enjoys mountain biking with a difference – he only uses one wheel. ‘One Hell of a Day’ follows him on his latest adventure; unicycling down Helvellyn, the third highest mountain in England.
Plus a Q&A session with three key people in the industry, Ian Weatherill from Hope Technology, Adrian Carter from Pace Cycles and Michael Bonney from Orange Bikes discussing ‘Trend Setters & Designers of The British MTB Movement 1980 – 2010. Meet 3 of the key people still at the heart of MTB design & manufacture in the 21st Century’
Not forgettng our two fascinating speakers for the night – Paul Errington (one of the UK’s foremost endurance mountain bikers) and Steve Razzetti (one of the UK’s leading adventure sports writers and photographers) who will offer all biking enthusiasts an indulgent evening about all things biking.
