It can only be described as a World Class line up……

Looking exhausted after the triathlon, James admits there are more hills in Keswick than in London! Somehow James also found the energy to talk that evening in the Theatre where he shared tales of his Olympic success and of his recent adventures in the South Pole. You can watch his epic tale with Ben Fogle in the South Pole on Sunday 9pm on BBC 2 or read about his current adventures in their book Race to the Pole! |

Rosie’s personality, dazzled, inspired all that had the privilege to meet her at the Keswick Mountain Festival. If there is one person that could encourage you to put on your running shoes, it would have to be Rosie. Rosie arrived in true style at the event, after running from the train station in Penrith to Keswick, nearly 20 miles. What a lady. If you missed it – I recommend her new book -Just a little run around the World. |

Graeme hardly had enough time to cram his talk into the hour slot allocated to him at the Theatre by the Lake. Starting with his wisdom on the aerodynamics of his record breaking bike, old faithful to the moment he achieved his aim of holding the title for the World Hour record. What an incredible man and I would recommend traveling to listen to Graeme talk any where in the country. |

Paul Rose – Full of smiles and laughter entertained the audience on Wednesday night with tales of terrific adventure and uncommon insights. What a talented man – an Antarctic Base Commander, Polar Guide and much more. He unwrapped some of the secrets of his BBC Ocean series including diving into caves and black holes. It was a pleasure to meet Paul and he truly immersed himself in the event. |

Leo Houlding and Sir Chris Bonington both spoke at different times on Friday evening. Leo had the chance to chat to Sir Chris between talks, one of his childhood heroes! Leo’s talk was said to have the audience gripping onto their chairs so lived up to it’s name – take me too the edge. Sir Chris Bonington the Patron of the event attracted the highest number of clients as ever to his talk entitled Boundless Horizon’s. |

| Arriving clean shaven, we hardly recognised Mark compared to the cover of his book! Anyone that can cycle 18,297 miles in 194 days and 17 hours deserves Guinness World Record. Another story of incredible adventure which you can read about in his book – The man who cycled the World. Go Mark, we are just wandering what your next adventure is? | |
| It was a pleasure to welcome Mike Stroud to the Theatre by the Lake where he presented his talk from Ice to Dust. Mike’s account of his ventures was outstanding – He took you through the psychological hardship to the enduring physical pain, as if you had been a part of the expedition! |
