Leo Houlding – Take me to the Edge……
Lucky fella Leo Houlding takes us on a whirlwind world tour of his latest adventures and rise from climbing’s golden boy to celebrity extreme sportsman.
From playing Sandy Irvine in 1920’s gear at 25,000 feet and bouldering at 28,000 feet on Everest, to riding erupting volcanoes, BASE jumping into caves and spending a million pounds of Richard Branson’s money making his own TV show for Virgin One “Take me to the Edge”.
For the last few years Leo has been experimenting with parachute-assisted descents from big wall climbs or Para-Alpinism. Prepare to witness epic adventures the likes of which you have probably never imagined. From racing Jeremy Clarkson up (and down!) the Verdon gorge on BBC’s Top Gear to free climbing the mighty cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome in Yosemite in a single day (and evading capture by the rangers!)
Whether you’re a seasoned climber or don’t know the difference between bouldering and big walling you’re sure to be inspired and entertained. Enough to make you green with envy!
“One of the most amazing slide shows I have ever seen, I’ll be sticking with Abseiling thank you very much!” Sir Chris Bonington Patron Keswick Mountain Festival
