    Finding the time

    Finding time to train for a triathlon is sometime quite hard. Jokingly on some ironman podiums they are known as the parade of the selfish. Training for one discipline and trying to juggle with your life is hard enough never mind three. I found I had to organise my life to make goals which also affect others. One of the best things to have is an understanding wife this makes it a lot easier to get out training but it also doesn't ease the guilt of leaving your family to pursue your own goals.

    This week has been half term which should mean I have had lots of time to train, but sadly this has not been the case! My husband has also been off work which means my priorities had to shift slightly from being training based to family focused! I have tried to convert him from a couch potato to a fitness fanatic but I have failed miserably on that one so finding the life/training balance is the way forward!

People are always telling me how trail running is so much better for your body than road running! I beg to differ - On Sunday my body felt broken!
