Local girl and Blue Peter TV presenter Helen is no stranger to adventure: she has completed the gruelling Marathon des Sables, kayaked 2,000 miles along the Amazon (a world record for the longest solo kayak journey) and also walked a 150 metre tightrope between the chimneys of Battersea Power Station!
Helen is currently in training for her most challenging adventure yet - covering 500 miles of the Antarctic on foot, by kite-ski and by bike in aid of Sport Relief!
