An exhibition of landscape and mountain images from two emerging modern artists. Born in Santiago de Chile, Jaime grew up visiting and painting the landscape of the Patagonian Lake District. Glasgow born Dougie Cunningham has lived in and photographed the English Lake District for the last two years.
For this exhibition they are exchanging venues: Jaime is visiting Cumbria to paint our local fells, while Dougie tours Patagonia with his camera. “A Lakes Exchange” brings together two highly individual and innovative artists, from distant cultures and working in contrasting media but with a shared passion for the mountains.
