Take part in the first mass swim of the summer season, a 1500m open water swim in one of the lake District's prettiest lakes, Derwentwater. This one mile swim around Derwent Island starts and finishes at the Mountain Festival showground in Crow Park, with its stunning views across the lake to Cat Bells and Borrowdale beyond, and loops round Derwent Island
This event will be a swim sportive rather than a race, so it's all about the enjoyment. There will be a start time window during which you chose when to start, so there will be no mad start scramble. Your swim will be electronically timed and times will be posted for your information.
