The festival will be featuring its first Dry Tooling competition at Keswick Climbing Wall. Dry Tooling is a new and exciting kind of climbing, participants use Ice Axes and wear Mountaineering Boots (but no crampons) and try an climb specifically set routes on the climbing wall. The axe is used in different ways to grip onto the hold and progress their way up / along the wall.
There will be both female and male competitions;-

3rd Prize - 2 tickets for Andy Kirkpatrick on 22 May
