The Latrigg Fell Race is one of the longest running fell races which is now in it's 38th year. The men's record set, by local legend Kenny Stuart, in 1984 at 16.37 is thought by many to be unbeatable. The race is marked and is steep in places, requiring studded shoes in wet conditions.
