Wild Swim

Take part in the first mass swim of the summer season, with the OSS Wild Swim: Derwent Island.
This one mile swim around Derwent Island starts from the grounds of Keswick Mountain Festival, and loops the island.
It is not a race, it's about enjoyment (though you can swim as fast as you like). The mass swim is hosted by Britain's biggest wild swimming collective the Outdoor Swimming Society.
A great opportunity to experience outdoor swimming, go on a beautiful swim around Derwent Island and meet other swimmers. Places are limited.
Wetsuits are required for safety (May isn’t warm [approx11 degres), unless you are a special exception who swims outdoors regularly, in which case please get in touch to discuss with the Event Director, Kate Rew, via info@outdoorswimmingsociety.com Registration is open to over 16s. Under 16s who are strong swimmers and have suitable experience should contact info@outdoorswimmingsociety.com to discuss attending the swim.
