  • You don't like the course
  • You weren't fit enough and consequently didn't enjoy the event
  • Your arrangements for getting to the event led to problems, eg traffic or transport issues
  • We need to change the course for health and safety reasons

Please remember that there are dangers involved in any kind of adventure activity.  You must ensure that you are properly fit, that you have the right equipment and that your equipment is in good working order.  You must ensure that you read all the information which is published on the website and supplied to you prior to the event and that you listen carefully to the pre-event briefing.  You must also follow any instructions given to you by event organisers and course marshals.  When cycling or running on the road you must be aware of other road users and obey the Highway Code at all times.

If you have grounds to claim a refund, please go to the registration tent after your event.  There will be an senior member of the KMF team who will let you know whether your claim is valid and take your details.  If you do not report to the registration tent on the day of your event it will be extremely difficult for us to authorise a refund.
