Music

The Festival Village on Crow Park played host to two evenings of fantastic live music from headliners Scouting For Girls and Bjorn Again - it was the perfect way to end your festival day! Visitors soaked up the festival atmosphere with friends and family whilst enjoying a refreshing beverage from the bar. In our opinion there is no place better to locate a stage and watch some live music, the backdrop of the Catbells and the Borrowdale Valley are simply stunning!

FRIDAY

BJÖRN AGAIN - The Australian ABBA show

9.30 PM

The Internationally acclaimed BJÖRN AGAIN show was created and founded in 1988 in Melbourne, by Australian Director and Musician ROD STEPHEN. Designed as a rocked-up light-hearted satirical ABBA spoof, the show rapidly achieved world-wide Cult status and acknowledged for singlehandedly initiating the ABBA revival which brought about ABBA Gold, Muriel’s Wedding and MAMMA MIA! The enduring appeal of ABBA is reflected in the ongoing success of the Björn Again show having amassed nearly 5,000 performances in 71 countries in 26 years.

Recently acknowledged by ABBA’s blonde vocalist Agnetha Fältskog, Rod aims to keep his typically Australian production at the top and continue for as long as people want to hear the much-loved ABBA repertoire performed the way only the Björn Again show does.
