Quotes From The Trade
“It was our first year at the festival and we are very pleased to say it won’t be our last. The event has something for everyone, visitor numbers were fantastic and exceeded our high expectations, and everything was superbly organised.”
Robert Radford, Dare 2b

“The festival was a big success for Berghaus, and great fun. The organisers put together a really strong and varied programme for our tipi venue and it was clear to see that people were thoroughly enjoying their time at the event. A highlight for me was our special Live for Adventure Challenge competition, during which teams pitched their ideas to a very enthusiastic audience. It was brilliant to witness Sir Chris Bonington, Mick Fowler and Kate Thomas hand over a cheque for £1,000 to help the winning team of climbers fulfil their dreams of adventure.”
Matthew Hickman, Berghaus

Quotes From The Trade
“We as the Austrian Tirol region have participated for the first time in the Keswick Mountain Festival and it was the right decision. Active people and sports enthusiasts attend this event and it is a great combination of mountain sports events, charismatic speakers and shows. The visitors at the Tirol stand showed explicit interest in summer activities and in the Tirol region. We definitely will be back.”
Holger Gassler, Tirol Tourist Board
