Conservation Activity

Friends of the Lake District Keswick Mountain Festival Fell Care Day

Friends of the Lake District Fell Care Days are mass-volunteering conservation events bringing together people of all ages and abilities to take practical action to protect our vital, but surprisingly fragile, uplands.
With the terrible floods Cumbria experienced this winter, particularly here in Keswick there is a huge amount of work to be done to heal and restore our beloved landscapes. There’s never been a more urgent need for your help in volunteering.

Join Friends of the Lake District’s Keswick Fell Care Day at the Keswick Mountain Festival on Saturday 21st May for a day filled with a sense of shared purpose, fun, camaraderie and most importantly, lots of cake to help fuel volunteers through their tasks!
