Lets face it, it's called the Lake District for the most obvious reason so what can you do on a rainy day?.....Yes, get wet! This is a fun and exhilarating activity for all, best as a group activity, with fun challenges along the way from sliding down a waterfall to jumping in the plunge pools. Your adrenaline will be pumping in these gorges which are naturally cut out by the flow of the water over the centuries. All challenges and obstacles can be avoided if you wish and non swimmers need not feel left out as you will be fitted out with buoyancy aids. All safety equipment is included. This event will take place in Stonycroft Gill in the Newlands Valley, a wonderful series of waterfalls, slides and pools giving a perfect half days challenge. All technical equipment required will be provided by The Lake District Walker but expect to get wet so bring some spare clothing to change into afterwards and of course a towel.
