Dirtbags recycle and reuse textile waste generated by the outdoor recreation industry. Using (but not limited to) climbing ropes, rucksacks, jackets, and manufacturing offcuts they create unique products in the Lake District, ethically and environmentally friendly. As a small team we work hard not only to reduce the amount of textile waste sent to landfill, but to bring people colourful, unique and ethically made products. We source our reusable materials from the UK, via the public and companies within the outdoor sector and feel proud to divert any textiles away from a life on a heap and to send them back out on an adventure.

We are a Spanish high-performance, extreme sports Company, originally founded as a manufacturer of sports socks, designed for the prevention of injuries such as plantar fasciitis, tibial periostitis and ankle sprains. Thanks to the experience and knowledge in this particular field, we have become a benchmark brand, especially for distance runners and, in a very short time, have expanded our product portfolio into all areas of the specialist category of ultra-distance running/walking/cycling.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
We design specialist, high-performance products, which are perfectly suited to the needs of the long-distance athlete. Exactly what they need in order to compete at the top level. The quality of both the raw materials and the finished products (made in Barcelona) are fundamental to the basic values of the ARCh MAX brand. We try to assist the athlete to achieve their personal goals wherever we can. Our pursuit of excellence mirrors their pursuit of excellence, whether that be winning medals or simply beating a Personal Best.
It is our pleasure to help you on your journey!

Millican celebrates the meaning in every journey. Inspired by the restless spirit of the open road, we create travel bags and accessories for the conscious traveller. We followed the unworn path carved out by Millican Dalton. It led us here, to the mountains of the Lake District. Take the road out of Keswick and you’ll find us on a small farm, nestled at the foot of Skiddaw. This is the place we call home, where we watch the seasons change slowly, where we design our sustainable bags for independent spirits.
LightupU is a range of products inspired by David Stobart, who whilst out training at night was a victim of a hit and run accident, despite wearing high visibility clothing. Hit with such force that the wing mirror ripped off on impact and left David hanging trapped and unconscious in a low growing tree.
David did make a full recovery thanks to a passing motorist and the dedication of the emergency services.
Once back running he decided to develop source and market a range of illuminated wearable products to provide a strong visual awareness for anyone exercising or out and about during the hours of darkness.
We started making the recipes for Chia Charge in our kitchen in 2012 while training for a few marathons. Now our recipes are stocked in over 300 running, cycling and outdoor shops throughout the UK (including the Lake District).

Chia Charge is about real people and real food on the go. Made in Yorkshire and using ingredients everyone has heard of – and it tastes great too!
