As event organisers we are constantly challenged to find solutions to problems to ensure you, our competitors and visitors, have fun and achieve your goals.
In adverse weather we’ll batten down the hatches and amend routes to make sure you can compete safely, if you wander off course we’ll make sure you’re found and rerouted, if you need the Peatbog Faeries to sign your granddaughter’s birthday card, we’ll make that happen too! The list goes on and on and we love it, it gets us out of bed every day and makes us excited about our jobs.
But unfortunately, a pandemic called COVID-19 has us stumped. The latest UK Government guidance on non-essential social contact means we can no longer safely host Keswick Mountain Festival from 15th – 17th May. We have worked tirelessly as a team to try to find a solution to deliver the festival in 2020, but much to our disappointment it hasn’t been possible, so we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone Keswick Mountain Festival to the 21st to 23rd May 2021. With unprecedented times and challenges ahead, we want to give our customers, sponsors and suppliers confirmation of this postponement as quickly as we could.
We’re not a huge corporation, we’re a small independent business with a team of 5, who with the help of our amazing suppliers and partners, deliver Keswick Mountain Festival. We love Keswick, taking part in sports and just generally doing stuff! We got involved with Keswick Mountain Festival in 2018 and this is our second year of running it, and we really need your help and support at this difficult time to ensure we keep delivering it for years to come. We hope that you are able to stick with us and roll your tickets over into 2021.
All sports entries, weekend, music, parking and camping tickets will be automatically rolled over to our 2021 dates. You don’t need to do anything.
If you can’t make our 2021 date and would like a refund, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number by the 31st May 2020. From 1st June 2020 our standard terms and conditions will apply to refunds.
If you’ve bought a Locals ticket from George Fisher and would like a refund, please email email@example.com and we’ll give you further instructions on how to obtain this.
If you’ve bought a Theatre by the Lake ticket, we’ll send separate instructions shortly.
