When and where is the festival?

The Keswick Mountain Festival takes place in Crow Park in Keswick, Cumbria. The postcode is CA12 5DJ.

On Thursday 9th September we operate a Kids Triathlon for local school children and this takes place in Fitz Park.

Can I volunteer at KMF?

I have a question about my activity

All activities are booked directly with the activity provider and will be launched in January.

Once you have booked an activity you will receive booking confirmation details which should contain all the information you need, plus contact details.

Once live, you will also be able to find their contact details or links to their website via our Outdoor Activity page.

Festival village - is it suitable for small children?

Yes, this event is suitable for small children. Although most events/activities do have a minimum age.

Festival village - are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are allowed on the Festival Village, but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Please be considerate and clean up after your dog.

Festival village - opening times

The Festival Village is open at the following times:

​Friday 10th September: 12pm-10.30pm
Saturday 11th September: 9am-10.30pm
Sunday 12th September: 9am-5pm

The shopping and information stalls close at 6pm on Friday and Saturday when the live music starts.

Some sporting events start earlier in the day from the Festival Village. There will be limited catering facilities available, but most exhibitors will be closed.

The Festival Village is free to enter during the day, but a ticket is required from 5pm.

On Thursday 9th September there is a Kids Triathlon for local primary schools which takes place in Fitz Park.

Festival village - is there an entry charge?

No, the Festival Village has free entry during the daytime until 5pm.

After 5pm you will either need a concert ticket or Festival Weekend Ticket to enter.

Festival village - age restrictions

Children under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Festival village - can i bring my own food/alcohol?

You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the Festival Village. If you are found bringing your own alcohol onto the Festival Village it will be confiscated or you will not be allowed entry.

You are allowed to bring food onsite, we do however have a range of catering outlets available.
